BIKE MONTH – San Diego County

Project Design Consultants (PDC) put together a formidable team to participate in the San Diego County Bike Month Challenge. With a total of 3,682 points, PDC won the Engineering Industry Position and placed first in the companies with 50-199 staff persons. PDC also finished 19th in the country within the 50-199 persons category. Really impressive given that we had ten riders!

Individual leaders included Alan Ramos with 582 total miles for the month. Chris Morrow had a total of 954 points (mileage, trips, and encourager points); Chris led the county in encourager points and finished second in total number of trips. Nice to have a short commute to the PDC office. Thomas Aristide commuted five days for a total of 74 miles. Lonnie Pennington put in 11 miles for 322 miles. Congratulations to all (see below) who put in the rides and miles and we are looking to continue our winning performance next year. Greg Shields, CEO put together five rides for 95 miles – very nice.

Thanks to SANDAG and the San Diego County Bike Coalition for putting together a fun and worthwhile event. Check out the lovetoride.net website for additional details and information.
